Despite a much-publicized air of hostility to many government functions throughout 2010, voters approved more than three of every four public transportation ballot measures during the year, either at the November 2 elections or earlier. The 56 proposed state and local measures in 18 states were wide-ranging in the aspects of transit funding or support they covered.
