The Climate Lens: A Workshop for Screenwriting in the Age of Climate Change

Event Date:
November 29, 2022

The Writers Guild of America, East and Good Energy invite you to attend The Climate Lens: A Workshop for Screenwriting in the Age of Climate Change, 6:00-7:00 p.m. ET, on November 29, 2022 via Zoom.

In this one-hour workshop, Good Energy will demonstrate how easy it is to bring the Climate Lens™ to any story.  By applying a climate lens, writers can organically unlock new touching, funny, and surprising portrayals, from brief mentions to climate themes—all of it backed by climate science and the emotional and lived realities of the climate crisis.

Good Energy is excited to explore all of the ways climate can enrich Guild members' stories for the screen, and have fun in the process.

Good Energy is a nonprofit story consultancy for the age of climate change. They aim to make it as easy as possible to portray the climate emergency on-screen in entertaining and artful ways, in any storyline, across every genre.
