DEADLINE: World Press Photo Contest

Entries to the 2023 World Press Photo Contest are open until January 10, 2023, 13.00 (1:00) CET, for professional photography in combination with, but not limited to, audio and visual elements like video, animation, graphics, illustrations, sound or text.

As a step towards increasing the level of international representation, the 2023 Photo Contest will work with a regional system that includes six regions:

• Africa
• Asia
• Europe
• North and Central America
• South America
• Southeast Asia and Oceania

Per region, entrants can submit their work to four format-based categories:

• Singles
• Stories
• Long-Term Projects
• Open Format

Regional winners each receive EUR1,000. Four global winners will also receive EUR5,000 each.
