2013 KDMC Berkeley Multimedia Storytelling Series: Video Storytelling

Event Date:
January 9, 2013 to January 11, 2013

Video is fast becoming a popular visual element used to engage audiences on websites and blogs, as an embedded element in social media and within video channels. Videos enhance a story, showcase a product, describe a concept, or generate a call to action. Video use is exploding with 201.4 billion videos viewed online each month.

This intensive three-day Certificate workshop is a complete immersion in video storytelling. Participants will receive hands-on training in every phase of planning, production and digital delivery. Master storytellers will share techniques on how to capture audience attention and make your video storytelling effective.

The Knight Digital Media Center delivers hands-on, skills training for journalists and communications professionals interested in using the emerging digital media news and information ecosystem to create engaging multi-platform content.

Please see the website for more information and to register for this workshop and/or others in the 2013 KDMC Multimedia Workshop series.
