The 2025 Conference & Expo of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) will take place in Chicago, Illinois, July 9-12.
The theme is "Stronger Together: Journalism, Community and the Power of Truth.”
At a time when journalism faces unprecedented challenges – including layoffs, threats to press freedom and industry shifts – this year’s theme highlights the strength of our community and our collective commitment to truth.
NAHJ25 will offer nearly 100 sessions, including 20 in Spanish, featuring hands-on training led by industry experts. Attendees will explore crucial topics from immigration coverage and climate reporting to emerging tech and wellness.
The conference will offer unparalleled career development opportunities with leading Hispanic journalists and media professionals, featuring workshops and panels that provide essential tools for career growth in a rapidly evolving industry. - Thanks to the generosity of the Field Foundation of Illinois, we are offering 10 fellowships to NAHJ professional members who have been laid off. Fellows receive a paid NAHJ25 registration, a five-night stay at the conference hotel, and $500 travel stipend. Apply by June 1.
