"Hawaii Hurricane Threat: Two Storms Lined Up On Path Toward Islands"

"There are not one but two powerful hurricanes in the Pacific that could come "dangerously" close to Hawaii over the next few days, according to forecasters.

So close, in fact, that the Big Island was put under a hurricane watch on Monday, and forecasters said more watches may be needed for some of the other islands.

Hurricane Madeline, a Category 3 hurricane with 125 mph winds on Monday, was the first storm that could take aim on the islands starting Wednesday."
