"Indian Affairs Head Resigned Amid Harassment Charges — Email"

"Former Bureau of Indian Affairs Director Bryan Rice allegedly bullied his agency's FOIA officer in December, according to an email that employee sent to Native American tribal leaders in late March.

Rice abruptly stepped down from BIA's leadership post last week, only six months after Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke tapped the former wildland firefighter and seasoned federal administrator.

In the wake of Rice's resignation, Interior spokeswoman Heather Swift referred inquiries to BIA, and a BIA spokeswoman declined to comment on the reasons behind Rice's exit."
