IIJ Freelance Webinar Series

Every month, the Institute for Independent Journalists is offering FREE webinars to help you to strengthen your freelance journalism practice. Their fall webinar series kicks off on Sept. 27 with a session on how to pitch business, tech and science stories, featuring a panel of editors from outlets like Marketplace, Salon, PCMag and MIT Technology Review. Later sessions offer free training on powerful data tools, information on how to navigate layoffs, and tips on how to pursue journalism-adjacent opportunities in marketing and communications.

Note: All webinars are on Fridays, from 12-1:15 pm ET, with a capacity of 500 people. Please RSVP early to secure your spot.
