DEADLINE: East-West Center's Melvin M.S. Goo Writing Fellowship

The East-West Center is excited to announce the 2024 Melvin M.S. Goo Writing Fellowship, which will award US$10,000 in financial support to an individual journalist, author, or writer from the United States or China for a project that will enhance understanding between the two countries.

Applicants must be a national or permanent resident of either the United States or the People's Republic of China. Applications are due October 1, 2023.

Selection criteria include how the proposed project will promote better understanding between the people of the two countries; focus on underreported feature topics; and reach a broad audience. We are looking for creativity and impact.
