"The Pacific Northwest Is in the Midst of a ‘Cascading Hazard’" [1]

"Things are a deadly, dangerous mess in the Pacific Northwest right now. An atmospheric river dumped rain across the region over the weekend, prompting widespread flooding and mudslides.
