"Group Opposed to Pipeline Seeks More Documents on Lobbyists" [1]

"Friends of the Earth, an environmental group, expanded its Freedom of Information Act request concerning the State Department’s evaluation of the Keystone XL pipeline proposal, which involves the construction of a new pipeline to carry crude from Canadian oil sands to the Gulf Coast. The environmental group’s original request had centered on communication between the State Department and Paul Elliott, the chief Washington lobbyist for TransCanada, the pipeline company."

Join marine biologist Dr. Sarah Frias-Torres, Ocean Research & Conservation Association (ORCA) fellow, and invited speaker at the SEJ conference, as she dives to film and study the goliath groupers. This trip is organized by Dr. Frias-Torres and is independent from the SEJ conference and outside the official program. However, to facilitate logistics, the fieldtrip is planned for Thursday October 20, which coincides with the conference official day tours. REGISTER BY OCTOBER 14th.
