"Cowboy and Indian Alliance Protest Keystone Pipeline"

"The Cowboy and Indian Alliance met Tuesday morning in front of the Capital to kick off a five-day protest against the proposed expansion of the Keystone XL Pipeline.

If the president approves the plans, the pipeline will run through both Dakotas, Nebraska and Kansas. Landowners, farmers and Native Americans that live along the proposed route made up the members of the alliance in attendance Tuesday. The protest will continue with an encampment on the National Mall throughout the week and end with a march to the White House on Saturday."
