The program, designed to encourage in-depth coverage of topics of pressing concern to the United States and Japan through individual short-term policy-related projects, is open to U.S. and Japanese citizens as well as nationals of other countries who can demonstrate strong and serious long-term affiliations with research communities in Japan or the United States. $23,500 stipend.
