Record Highs Expected To Fall As Southwest US Bakes In Early Heat Wave [1]

"The first heat wave of the season has arrived earlier than usual across much of the U.S. Southwest, with dangerously hot conditions that produced triple-digit temperatures on Tuesday. Forecasters say temperatures are likely to top 110 degrees Fahrenheit (43.3 Celsius) in some areas by Thursday."

DEADLINE: Climate Change Media Partnership COP29 Reporting Fellowship [10]

The CCMP Reporting Fellowship aims to bring up to 20 journalists from low- and middle income countries to report in-person at COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan, Nov 11-22. Includes airfare, accommodation, meals, travel medical insurance and ground transportation costs. Apply by June 6.
