Lawmakers Could End Plan To Shoot 450,000 Owls — To Save A Different Owl [19]

Suit Claims Capped Alabama Coal Ash Pond Still Polluting Groundwater [25]

"These Companies Avoided Clean-Air Rules. It Took a Single Email." [31]

"In March, the Trump administration created a novel way for companies to potentially avoid complying with environmental rules: Simply send an email to the Environmental Protection Agency and request an exemption. In response, representatives of at least 15 coal-burning power plants, four steel mills, four chemical facilities and two mines wrote emails to the E.P.A. this spring, according to documents reviewed by The New York Times."

Rule To Protect Workers From Heat Stress Moves Forward, Even Under Trump [44]

"Earlier this month, the Trump administration announced plans to revise or repeal 63 workplace regulations that Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer said “stifle growth and limit opportunity.” OSHA’s heat stress rule wasn’t among them.
