The Association of Health Care Journalists is offering travel assistance to journalists to attend their 2012 annual conference, April 19-22, in Atlanta, GA. Apply by Mar 16th.

This new 14-day professional dialogue, study and travel program (May 13-27), co-sponsored by the East-West Center and the Center for Global Partnership, will introduce participating journalists to a broad range of disaster management activities in the United States and Japan as well as post-disaster challenges to political, economic and energy resiliency. Apply by Mar 12th.

The Institutes for Journalism & Natural Resources' welcomes applications by May 11th for this four-day, expenses-paid journey (June 13-16, 2012) exploring parts of the Maumee River watershed, from the headwaters near Fort Wayne, Indiana, to the river's mouth in Toledo, Ohio, on the southwestern shore of Lake Erie.

The fellowships support journalists in researching stories in the EU. It has a strong focus on recruiting journalists with diverse backgrounds who might not otherwise have the opportunity to do international reporting. In 2024, policy areas include climate & energy policy, among others. Cash stipend for in-person or digital fellowship. Apply by Mar 15.

Develop your written, speaking, communication and leadership skills, while learning about diversity, through the Asian American Journalists Association's multicultural journalism training program taking place this year Jul 26-Aug 1 in Seattle, Wash. Open to all high school students. Apply by Jan 31, 2025.

The Kiplinger Fellowship, located within the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism and Scripps College of Communication at Ohio University, is open for applications for this year's topic-specific training – Immigration and Migration, taking place April 14-20, 2024. Apply by Nov 27.
