The New England First Amendment Coalition will host its 15th annual investigative journalism institute from Oct 24-26, 2025 at Boston University. Journalists within New England can apply by Aug 29 for this tuition-free program. Limited scholarships are available to cover hotel and travel expenses, if needed.

Vermont’s Flood-Wracked Capital City Ponders A Rebuild -- And Climate [7]

"A beloved bookstore in Vermont’s small capital city moved across the street to a new spot farther from the Winooski River after an ice jam sent river water into the store in 1992.
